VITUS offers customers a wide variety of services: we offer either the entire package from sourcing and quality control, all the way through to order-processing – or just one of the particular segments. We know: every client has their own individual business model and we recognise that some customers are suitably experienced to deal with certain aspects themselves, while others would rather benefit from our support all the way through. • Product Sourcing
  Our team of experienced product managers has access to a large portfolio of products and has excellent relationships with suppliers. This network enables us to find items on demand – quickly and efficiently. Our product expertise allows us to determine rapidly whether the tendered prices are appropriate, thus ensuring the competitiveness of our customers.
• Purchasing & Order Processing
  Some companies already have direct contact to factories in Asia through trade fairs, for example, but prefer not to deal with the actual process of purchasing and order-processing themselves. VITUS can take charge of the communications with the supplier – the customer will brief us to make sure that we act in their best interest. For greater convenience, the customer can purchase the final products via VITUS to ensure simple and quick completion of the order. Alternatively, the customer may deal directly with the factory, in which case VITUS will charge a commission.
• Quality Control
  VITUS currently employs 14 quality inspectors who are based across China. This way we are able to monitor approximately 80 percent of the production volume on site and ensure that agreements regarding raw materials, product quality, timeframes and ethics guidelines are fulfilled. For customers who don’t have time or manpower to check the quality of goods that are purchased directly from factories, VITUS offers quality control as an individual service. We take over quality controls and final inspections, during which every aspect will be documented meticulously.
• Testing
  VITUS conducts internal quality tests and also works closely together with the LGA in Shanghai and Hong Kong, who will do extensive tests in compliance with the strict DIN and EN specifications. These cover stability tests, chemical consistency of materials, packaging and all common certificates, such as TÜV-GS, UKFR, LFBG or FFU. Should you require certification from another institution, we will be happy to work with them, too.
• Office Hosting
  Many companies intend to source and purchase directly with their own personnel in Asia but don’t want to open their own purchasing office. VITUS offers those clients “Office Hosting”. That means: on behalf of our clients we hire employees who will work under the supervision of our foreign management in one of our offices. This arrangement offers our clients various advantages: you save money by neither having to fill senior management positions, nor having to set up your own office. This also gives you much-needed flexibility in rapidly changing markets. And best of all: you can start your operation almost immediately.
• Product- and Packaging Design
  Our own in-house designer frequently works on new products and suitable artwork for packaging. VITUS will also convert customers’ ideas and suggestions into exclusive product ranges. We strive to find suitable designs that will be successful in the target group. We know: furniture design, as well as its packaging, play an important role in making a product successful. That is why we put a lot of effort into developing the right concepts for our customers!
• Logistics
  It is imperative that the products reach their final destination, not only in good shape, but also on time. To ensure this we put a lot of thought into the logistics. We can organise customised solutions for transport from factory to the customer’s warehouse. This service includes sea- or airfreight, consolidation of goods, dealing with customs and distribution to storage centres.
• Other Services
  Producing any kinds of goods includes labelling for storage purposes, displays in stores and increased recognition. Manuals are just as important: customer satisfaction can only be expected if they can assemble the purchased product with ease and know how to maintain the items so as to maximise the product’s life expectancy. VITUS can design and produce labels and manuals in any language.
  Furthermore, VITUS offers a professional product photography service. We can shoot pictures in a professional studio with room-settings, or directly in the factory. That way you save both money and time: rather than waiting until samples have been sent to you we can start taking photos right away, ready to use in your marketing campaign or packaging design.
